Across the approximately 30 hectares of landscape, vineyards of native grape varieties predominate, such as Loureiro, Arinto, Avesso, Padeiro de Basto, Espadeiro and Vinhão, but also internationally renowned varieties such as Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.

Amidst vineyards and a winery, Solar da Pena also stands out for its biodiversity: it's possible to find a rare specimen of the Seiva-Barriguda tree, and the company of birds, owls, foxes, hares, and sheep predominates, in a harmonious symbiosis with nature.

Wine tourism is the soul of Solar da Pena. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the farm, learn about the winemaking process from vine to bottle, and participate in guided tastings of Vinho Verde, paired with regional cheeses and cured meats. It is also possible to take an electric bike tour through the vineyards, on a route of about 10km, with a tasting of Solar da Pena wines at the end.
